On June 30th, 2012 Toni Polsterer finished his 2 year term as chair of the ICC Executive Council.
Gianni Jandolo, Vice President and Chair Elect was confirmed as the new Chair 2012-14 and Gwenael de Bergevin as Vice President and Chair Elect. A new second Vice President was elected.
At a special meeting in Paris, the board had decided to nominate Andrzej Ludek, National Coordinator for Poland for Vice President of the Executive Council. He was definitely elected at the ICC Annual Restricted Meeting in Bangkok.

Andrzej speaks English, German and Russian and Polish (native). He was DG for D-2230 (Belarus, Poland, and Ukraine) in 2001-02.
His active involvement in ICCs started with the creation of the ICC Poland-Germany in 1994. After his term as a DG, he became NC for all 3 countries of his district. When Ukraine and Belarus had enough ICCs to justify their own NC, Andrzej became NC for Poland.
Andrzej has organized many ICC seminars and events. I mention just the ICC session at the Rotary Institute in Warsaw 2009 where he was Chairman of the Institute, and the ICC session at the Institute in Lillestroem in 2011, where he was speaker and moderator.
He was speaker at numerous other ICC events and conferences including the ICC sessions at the convention in Birmingham and the ICC conferences in Cannes, Bucharest and Tunis.
We are welcoming Andrzej to the board of the ICC Executive Council and wishing chair Gianni a lot of success in leading the Council supported by Gwenael de Bergevin as chair elect. |
