Frank Spain (RI President 1951/52 - ICCs General Assembly): The creation of Inter Country Committees is the most important post-war Rotarian event in Europe. Jack Davis (RI President 1977/78 - ICCs General Assembly): The most tangible contribution made by Rotary to Europe was through ICC’s and the Contact Clubs Stan McCaffrey (RI President 1981/82 - ICCs General Assembly): Their contribution now to world peace and to the unification of humanity Mat Caparas (RI President 1986/87 - ICCs General Assembly): ICC’s contribution to international understanding even off limits of Europe, specifically in some African countries Paulo Costa (RI President 1990/91 - ICCs General Assembly): Inter Country Committees in Europe are the true pioneers of International Service in Rotary because they open hearts to peace. Rajendra K. Saboo (RI President 1991/92 - March message to the Rotarian Magazine): Peace is nourished by truth and principles, and it is strenghtened when we overcome our differences to work together, finding common ground for a noble cause. 
Cliff Dochterman (RI President 1992/93 - Montpellier, France - 3th December 1992): The Inter-Country Committees offer clubs and Rotarians other possibilities for assuming our responsability for world peace 
Carlo Ravizza (RI President 1999/2000): Born in the spirit of wider international understanding and with the aim of strengthening friendship and good will among Rotarians beyond one’s national boundaries, the Inter-Country Committees represent a vital and dynamic element within the Rotary organization.
