The ICC Executive Council Meeting will take place on Saturday 22nd June at 14.00 in Lisbon at the Feria Internacional where the R.I. Convention will be held, Pavilion 3, meeting Room 5. In addition, the ICC presence at the RI Convention will be as follows: - Executive Council Saturday 22nd june
- Main break-out session wednesday 26th june 14.30 - 16.00
- Additional presence in a break-out session monday 24th june 16.00 - 17.30
- Our booth in the House of Friendship from saturday 22nd to wednesday 26th june.

The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace is one of the cornerstones of the Rotary movement.With Rotary's active presence in more than 200 countries and geographical areas, our organization has established itself as a world leader in fostering world understanding and peace.
We have accomplished a great deal in this area throughout our history, but we must continue to look forward and recognize that the future of Rotary - and the future prospects of world peace - rest with today's young leaders. To ensure a lasting legacy in this arena we must engage young people and the new generations to come in a meaningful way and empower them to carry Rotary's peace-building efforts into the future.
The Forum in Berlin will - emphasize the value of Democracy and Freedom
- Examines the role of democracy in building peace and promotes opportunities for all people to engage onenother in international understanding and cooperation
- Will celebrate and highlight role of intercountry committees in promoting understanding among nations.

In addition to encouraging international contact between clubs and Rotarians to promote fellowship, tolerance and understanding, ICCs also facilitate bilateral humanitarian and peace projects, to promote a service that transcends club, district, and national borders. |

On June 30th, 2012 Toni Polsterer finished his 2 year term as chair of the ICC Executive Council. Gianni Jandolo, Vice President and Chair Elect was confirmed as the new Chair 2012-14 and Gwenael de Bergevin as Vice President and Chair Elect. A new second Vice President was elected. At a special meeting in Paris, the board had decided to nominate Andrzej Ludek, National Coordinator for Poland for Vice President of the Executive Council. He was definitely elected at the ICC Annual Restricted Meeting in Bangkok. |
